EarthLab Virginia

At EarthLab, we believe that connecting with the earth is the key to building meaningful lives and resilient communities in a time of environmental crisis.

Our Mission

EarthLab’s mission is to support Central Virginia learners of all ages in building deep relationships with our local ecosystems, with a focus on adolescents and adults. We aim to foster eco-literacy through immersive environmental educational experiences for all.

What We Do

Nature Notes

Our monthly newsletter offers a curated list of seasonal nature guides, activity ideas, and updates on our latest events.

EarthLab Outings

Our programs support explorers of all ages to get in touch with their inner naturalist, and discover the wonder of the wild – and not so wild – parts of Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Hanover, and beyond. Join a public event or reach out to plan a custom program or series.

Collaborations

We partner with K-12 schools, homeschool groups, and organizational teams to offer professional development, curricula consulting, and more.
